Chai tea in the indian way

I have been to india three times, and chai tea the way the indians make it is …yummy! I have not come across any place here in europe where they make chai the indian way (except indian restaurants). So, therefore I found the recipe on how to make real chai tea on, but unfortunately it’s in norwegian so I will translate the important parts to english.

Chai is simply black tea with spices like cinnamon, ginger, fennel and some other spicy spices (you can fill in the blanks). Make sure that it’s not aromatic tea, but pure black tea. I usually buy Chai tea from a shop and add some extra cinnamon simply because I love cinnamon.

Boil/steam the water on medium heat with the spices in for about 10 minutes.

Add milk and sugar (sweeteners) and boil it up again, then add the tea and let it draft(?) for a couple of minutes.
