The ABC of blogging is to keep your blog regularly updated, one can safely say I don’t fall into that category. I have several times wondered if I should just delete my blog, since it’s time consuming to write a proper blog entry and I don’t update it enough. Since I work within IT I have a kind of allergies about sitting in front of the screen (that includes even the mobilephone screen) in my spare time.
The problem is – I love writing. That’s the reason I have kept this blog. Writing is a form of meditation for me, especially if I do it in a cafe. There is a part of me that just becomes silent, still. I get such a happiness kick out of it, and I always wonder why I don’t do it more. I have the inspiration for many different blog posts, I just have trouble sitting down in front of a computer screen. I don’t like having a mobile phone near me, but it’s oh, so practical, so I keep it.
I also have an internal discussion about what to blog about. As one norwegian blogger, Revolusjonært Roteloft, stated – The best blogs she had ever read was people writing about their life. The worst blogs she had ever read was people writing about their life. I couldn’t agree more.
I have a certain limit to what I will write about, but what is a blog if not personal? I have slowly concluded that I want to become more personal with my blog, write more about my life and my thoughts. Then again – I have to sit in front of the computer screen to do that.
I should probably have some concluding words now, but there wasn’t really any purpose to this post.
